    The Hamburg New York Development Corporation (HDC) is organized as a not for profit corporation under Section 501 (C)(3) of the laws of New York State. The HDC's fifteen member Board and associated membership consist of businessmen, attorneys, realtors, bankers, residents and governmental officials interested in furthering business creation and expansion and associated job creation.

    In order to further business and economic development, the HDC administers the Hamburg Business Development Fund, currently a $340,000 revolving loan pool, made available to local business for expansion and job creation. Additionally the HDC operates a town wide marketing programs designed to encourage business investment in the Hamburg Community.

    The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce is a private, not-for-profit business membership association. They are an action agency designed to meet business and community needs. The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce rely on a voluntary organization of businesses to advance all sectors of interest within the community. This include civic, commercial, financial and industrial interests. Their mission is to advance the commercial, industrial, economic, educational, civic and general welfare of the Town of Hamburg and its incorporated villages; To stimulate community and area consciousness, unify and harmonize civic efforts; To involve people and apply their diverse talents in a representative way to service the community in an open forum for the good and betterment of all, non-denominationally and non-politically.
